Anybody know real story behind why turbine place this tree in Dereth?

Becouse they all where OoT fans?

This is one item that I don't know more about. Aside from the Graphical at the top of the world tree (for the greenery) was actually composed of a scan of the Turbine Kitchen sponge.

Also similar to the hometree of avatar. That movie was very similar to ac2/tumeroks, if you just add in the tentacle ponytails.

Yeh i think avatar stole idea about tree from zelda and planet was omnishan and evolved tumeroks aka navi, live on pandora hehe.

And offcorse filthy humans who always destroy everything hehe.

Aren't they Deku nuts?

I gotta admit, I thought that it was a reference to the Deku tree and I still hold that belief lol. Its a huge tree, revered by a race of people, and has a name 1 letter differant from Deku.

The Deru tree was much better... you could jump off of it.
