Another one bites the dust...

"Phoenix Online Studios, the fan team that has spent years working on an unofficial continuation to Sierra's King's Quest games, has now discontinued its work following a Cease & Desist letter from new IP holders Activision."

Activision is on fire lately, concerning the additional heat around MW2... Too bad about the project though

Yea, they're even getting sued by the former CEO/Producer of MW2. He's claiming they fired him to not pay him his bonus or something like that.

I was going to link the article I saw... but there seems to be some failing with it loading properly...

Wow... that is REALLY sad... I thought King's Quest was abandonware by now, in computer game terms it's practically ancient!
And Blizzard has the cash cow that is WoW, I wouldn't think they'd even care about such an old game... how much would they be losing, really? x_x
