Okay guys, let's get this ball rolling and satisfy my (and I'm assuming others) desire's to actually discus this fine game of ours!


Which race / build would you play if you were able to re-enter Dereth for the last time and live out your AC2 dreams? ....and why?


ex.

-would you choose that combo because it was the same one that you chose with your very first character?
-would you choose that combo because it is sufficient for experiencing all the content that AC2 has to offer? (solo/group/dungeon).
-would you choose that combo because it is significantly unique from the standard classes that are shoved down our throats with modern MMO's?
-...Is it your super secret uber custom unique build?


I'd like to hear from you guys and I'll be posting my thoughts soon! Don't be afraid, we can still dream can't we?

Tactician because its a total blast, wanted in groups, and no other game has a class that comes close.

I love tact, but doing vaults as one is not my idea of a good time.

Tummie FI at start hands down. It was the most probably the most fun class for me. I absolutely love their reap skill. And being able to tank almost anything
And immediately after that i would start a Zerk and Sage cause who doesnt love having a healer in the grp, and i find theyre heals are much better than the tummie healing class, but i nvr really gave the tummie healer class a chance.
And as for zerker, damage dealing with them was awesome expecially with a healer to keep the health up and a debuffer. Could take anything down in like 30 seconds

I love all the classes for the luggy's, so I'd start with tact, move to elementalist, then go zerker when I get higher. I really liked Juggernaut as well... everything is great...

One of my favorite classes is elementalist.

In my opinion if I wanted to be the most powerful class in the game, I'd go elem for sure.
...the only thing is being a pet-heal bot got old pretty fast as well as pet pathing.

They had pathing pretty well down by the end, I must admit, but the healing thing was a pain indeed.

I'd say for overall power/survivability you are right, elem probably takes it, but there was just no touching the raw destructive power of the Zerker, run in and 5 seconds later the mob was dead, or you were, no messing around.

I'd give anything to play those again... hopefully some day.

Probably a Tonk Healer. I've been itching to play a solid magic class lately and IIRC a healer could effectively heal and dish out the hurt. Besides, everybody loves the healer.

Clawbearer ive played that class mostly and never went back to my other classes ive played.

I started with feral intant and played human ranger.

But clawbearer is just my favorite specially for pvp.

Protecting the flock

Would anyone break the mold and go for Drudge or Empyrean?

I would consider going the Empyrean route... for no other reason than to try the only race I never played.

My soul rests with the tact but we dont want to flood the servers with them.... My second fav was the FI for a number of reasons but having a shreth made it too awesome to pass up.

Yeah, tank + reap + pet... what's not to love?

I would say Hivekeeper. There is just something so awesome about using wasps as a weapon.
