Stories of Dereth Pt. 1 PDF Print E-mail

Wednesday, 15 July 2009 04:40

This Weekly comes from our own OVERLORD.

It's a good read, Give it a once over and comment. :)

When playing AC2 I recall countless hours of recounting battles and struggles with my RL friends. We would discuss the game and our adventures in great detail. While this still happens in newer MMO's, it is on a vastly smaller scale. AC2 had some quality that I cannot describe, something that made it more real and exciting. In the memory of the wonderful times in Dereth, I would like to share one such tale with you all.

Weekly: Dereth Shrunk PDF Print E-mail

Wednesday, 01 July 2009 16:40

This weekly is from our own Lore hound Bunnyavenger.

Anybody who played AC1 knows that the island of Dereth was huge on foot, but have you ever looked at what portion of the map was used in AC2?

[Weekly] To Level cap or not to level cap PDF Print E-mail

Saturday, 13 June 2009 18:54

That is the question.
So the first thing you'll likely notice about this weekly is that it is neither as awesome as Ashraghil's cookie recipe post, nor is it as quite bat-shit -insane as Gringotts' post. Also, it is inspired by one of the threads started in the Cragstone Nexus.

[Weekly] Takeover PDF Print E-mail

Thursday, 04 June 2009 23:05

This weekly is a bit delayed. We are sorry for that but for the current weekly it is something beyound our power. More specifically that means that he who is going to present his most recent speech is not a team player in a common sense. Actually he is a fictional person, but I am pretty sure he would deny the truthfulness of this statement. So, the one who has been drafting the words is Ashraghil, but the mind behind it is Gringotts - at least he would say so.

Weekly: I have a dream (Ashraghil) PDF Print E-mail

Saturday, 23 May 2009 05:53

This Weeks weekly is from Ashraghil,  It's a longer piece than what I generally do however, it's  phenomenal in it's explanations.

When Martin Luther King Jr. spoke of his desire for a future where blacks and whites, among others, would coexist harmoniously as equals, most of us were not even born yet. Neither am I black nor do I claim to have anything remotely important to say as Mr. King, but in a way the topic of this essay is somewhat related to what he has been addressing in the 1960s.
So, are we going to have a discussion about racism here? Hardly. But it is definitely about things that seem to be the very opposite of each other. They are currently handled as mutually exclusive alternatives. And my dream is that we finally can come to the conclusion that there is nothing on them that requires necessarily to exclude something. What I deeply believe in is that they not only can get along, but that they even can complement their currently assumed so dangerous opposite.
